Her contract and freelance clients have included Applied Biosystems, Eidos and McKesson. Before moving to California, she worked four years as senior designer for a boutique design and print studio in Baltimore. She gained extensive experience with tradeshows and exhibits as well as print collateral and web design. She co-authored the book, The Designer’s Prepress Companion, and has a thorough understanding of print production. Sites Designed Christie designed the PUSH site with a combination of CSS, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and hand-coding, Marigold uses a pre-existing Flash template and for GroundFloor, she created the User Interface. Push Physical Theatre | Marigold Fund | GroundFloor Graphics Student work at RIT Christie attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 1999-2001. She completed the sophomore and junior year core curriculum in Graphic Design, then earned a Masters of Science in Printing with a focus on Graphic Arts Publishing. Undergraduate Work For her undergraduate degree, Christie attended Hampshire College where she majored in Fine Art and Literary Journalism. Her senior project, Painted Selves, was a series of oil paintings and charcoal drawings created exclusively from memory. |
